The difference between a food bank & a food pantry...

In the food pantry in Basingstoke, members can join without having to be referred and they can remain members for as long as they like, many food banks limit clients to 2-3 visits. The pantry does not insist that members regard help as a temporary solution.

If you are in need of help you can either be referred to the pantry in Basingstoke with a voucher by an education or healthcare professional which would entitle you to a 3-day food parcel, or if you find you need ongoing support you can join our pantry as a member for £3.50 a week which will entitle you to approx. £20 worth of food each week.

If you meet the eligibility criteria and would like to join the Pantry please download a Pantry Membership Form
