Holly Lodge Girls’ College

Dear MCKS Charitable Foundation UK,

The city of Liverpool consists of six boroughs – Halton, Sefton, Wirral, Knowsley, St Helens and Liverpool. There are thought to be 82,205 children living in poverty across our city. That’s 25.6% of all children who are living in households across our city who are having to go without food or are missing meals as a result of the cost of living crisis we are facing in the UK.

Since our partnership in May 22 Holly Lodge are proud to have been able to deliver in conjunction with MCKS over 25 food hampers to our most vulnerable families and also support many other families with basic food supplies at a time of need.

Holly Lodge are proud to be one of the many schools across the country who have partnered with the MCKS Charitable Foundation in order to support our students and their families with our Dignity Food Pantry.

On behalf of the Head Teacher – Mr Andrew Keen and all staff at Holly Lodge Girls College, we would like to thank MCKS Charitable Foundation for kindly supplying weekly food donations that enables us to support our school community.

Yours Sincerely

Angie Martin

Student Support & Child Protection Officer.
