There are 82,205 children living in poverty in Liverpool City Region. This figure represents 25.6% of all children. This is higher than all other northern city region areas and much higher than the National Figure of 18.6%. These figures clearly show the enormous challenge faced by Liverpool City region families. Increased living costs mean that families are having to cut right back on essential, which leads to a drastic fall in living standards. This should be raising the fears of our government as living standards for these families are worsening and having a negative lifelong impact on both physical and mental health and Educational outcomes for children and young people. Holly Lodge is proud of its yearlong partnership with MCKS Charitable Foundation. We are extremely grateful for your invaluable support again over the last term. Your donations of food and toiletries have enabled us to support many of our most vulnerable families. We have supported more than 30 families just in the last term. They constantly remark on the generosity of your charity and what a difference it has made to them. The items you provide for our Food Pantry means that we can make sure that all our children have access to food and hygiene products. Being able to meet these basic needs allows all of our children to "flourish and grow". This term, we would also like to thank you for the cereal bars that you provided for our Y6 pupils to support them during SATs week.

Brookvale Primary would like to thank MCKS for their excellent work with our school and community this term. MCKS is a charitable foundation who provide schools across the country with food, toiletries and sanitary products so that children have consistent access to essential supplies through their School Pantry Cupboards. They have worked alongside Brookvale Primary to support a number of members of our community this term and we greatly appreciate the fine work conducted by everyone at MCKS.

On behalf of everyone at Culcheth Primary School, I would like to say a huge thank you for all of the donations that we have received from MCKS School Pantries. We support our most vulnerable families by running a food shop each Tuesday. We are delighted to be making a difference in our local community and making sure that our children have nourishing food to share with their families at home. We also use a small amount of food to provide breakfast and dinner in our wrap around care provision, for those children who are entitled to free school meals and attend before and after school care free of charge. This is not only ensuring that they have a good start to each day but also improving attendance. Once again, thank you so much to MCKS, you have made a huge difference to some of our families.

The Bosworth Academy community has depended on MCKS this year. We have many families that are regularly using our school pantry, to help support the ever growing cost of living. We would not be able to support our school community without MCKS continued support. I am writing to you to express my thanks once again for the continuing provision of food and toiletries for school community. People are always amazed when they find out that the food we use to support our community comes free of charge from your amazing charity with no strings attached. It is incredibly humbling to be able to support those struggling families in their time of need with food and toiletries. Not to mention, the extra Christmas chocolates and more recently, the breakfast items that will ensure all of our year 11 students will have an opportunity to eat breakfast before their exams. Words cannot express how thankful we, Clacton Coastal Academy, our students and families are for the weekly donations of food to enable us to donate food parcels to the families that are most in need. The charity has provided a sense of community amongst our school, parents/carers and school staff regularly donate carrier bags to enable us to distribute food to families and a range of school staff help with everything from the initial delivery of food to the sorting, packing and dispatching of food for our families. Each half term we dispatch, on average, 70 food parcels to families in need, this could not be done without the support of MCKS. Thank you for your continued support.

Thank you for the food and supplies which arrived this morning, genuinely, we are extremely grateful. Quite often our students confuse feeling sick with being hungry but we are not always in a position to offer them anything other than water, the cereal bars you provided helped them throughout the exam week. For many of our pupils who are facing homelessness or challenging financial situations at home, having basic items such as deodorant and shower gel will mean we can practically support our students in a very important yet discreet way with your help. Our parcel containing underwear, tights and sanitary pads arrived today! Thank you so much …this will make an amazing difference to many of the girls in our school. As I mentioned previously many of them struggle for basic toiletries like deodorant , toothpaste and toothbrushes. Everyday items which we all take for granted!

Just wanted to shout out everyone at the MCKS Food Pantry who helped to put together a care package centred around hygiene products for our students! We are an Alternative Provision school, and have a lot of children who are vulnerable, who have SEMH needs and who are in care - and so the items we curated together are perfect for them. It will be especially good in the summer holidays where they don’t have daily access to showers/ hygiene products at school. BBIH really appreciates the community outreach from MCKS Food Pantry, and their help in providing needed products for our students.

Please could we ask for a supply of toothbrushes and toothpaste, we have a number of teenagers who haven’t brushed their teeth in months as their families simply cannot afford sanitary supplies.

This is such a wonderful initiative and we can’t thank you enough. Currently we have 12 families a week that would benefit from food parcels from you. We used to receive these from the local supermarket but they can only supply us on a fortnightly basis and we have children in the school going without meals over the weekends.

We have so many vulnerable students and a high number of them are from families facing financial hardship. We do not have a breakfast club and many of our students arrive hungry, are you able to supply us with breakfast bars and cereals.

We would be extremely grateful to receive supplies of toothbrushes, toothpaste, shower gel and deodorants for our students before the summer holidays. 1 in 3 children are living in poverty in Cornwall and your help could not be more timely.

Your offer and support for our school is amazing. Gainsborough is a very high poverty area and I know our students and their families would really benefit from your support.

We have approximately 900 teenagers in our school with a number of them from the poorest families in Liverpool. We would very kindly like to take you up on your offer of sanitary pads, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shower gel and deodorants, also if possible underwear which we go through a lot.
