STRONG Vibes Gym has raised £5,200 to set up a Food Pantry Cupboard in a local school in the Windsor area.

Abi Sheehan, the owner said:

“Our gym members took part in a number of sports including squats, races, power plate exercises, TRX and various legs, bums and tums challenges and worked together to support MCKS Charitable Foundation UK.”

The charity provides schools across the country with support for food, toiletries and sanitary products by sending a weekly delivery to stock up their pantry cupboards. It currently supports 50 schools across the country and aims to increase this to 100 within 12 months. Each school pantry cupboard supports around 25 families a week and has become a vital lifeline for children and their families.

The charity’s Chairman Les Flitcroft said:

“Our charity is dedicated to providing caring and compassionate support and our school pantry cupboards provide an efficient way to get food and supplies directly to children who need them most. With the support of Strong Vibes Gym, we are delighted that we will be able to support children and their families in the Windsor area.”
